We highly appreciate you purchasing our products. At Ponderosa Appliance, we understand things can happen, and that's why we offer returns under specific conditions. It is important for a customer to read and understand the conditions and return policy of any appliance. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
INSTALLATION
Due to the high demand of installations, our company offers the installation of any unit purchased from us, however if a customer purchases an appliance from Ponderosa Appliance and decides to install it themselves, it is the responsibility of the customer to read and understand the proper installation instructions provided by the manufacturer. Ponderosa Appliance and/or its affiliates are not responsible for any damage incurred during customer transport, or failure to install the appliance(s) according to the manufacturer guidelines. Moreover, Ponderosa Appliance and/or its affiliates are also not responsible for any misjudgment of measurements, electrical and gas capacity or connections, unsuitable plumbing (gas or water), the inability to enter your home due to insignificant spacing of entry or exits, extreme unhygienic conditions, dangerous animals, and inordinate levels of spacing from the ground to a residence's entry or exit. Ponderosa Appliance reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who is violent, combative, and will not install appliances if a person over the age of 18 is not present. Installations will only consist of the appliances listed on the customers receipt.
SCRATCH AND DENT RETURNS AND WARRANTY
Ponderosa Appliance offers a 120-DAY warranty on Parts and Labor of all Scratch and Dent units purchased in store. Under the circumstances of an appliance failing to perform as advertised by the manufacturer under the above 120 DAY warranty, Ponderosa Appliance will conduct a service call, free of charge and will keep in continuous contact with the customer in need. If the appliance cannot be fixed or a part cannot be replaced, due to it no longer being available, Ponderosa Appliance will provide the customer with a full credit of equal value to the appliance(s) purchased.
NEW IN-BOX RETURNS AND WARRANTY
Ponderosa Appliance works closely with the manufacturers featured in store. Each new "in-box" item is covered under a 1 year limited warranty according to its manufacturer unless stated otherwise. If a new "in-box" item is somehow damaged upon receipt or DOA (Dead on Arrival), Ponderosa Appliance will do what is feasible to resolve the issue. Keep in mind, as we work tirelessly to provide a great customer experience, Ponderosa Appliance needs to abide by its respective manufacture terms when it comes to service and/or the circumstances described above. As stated above, Ponderosa Appliance will not be liable for improper transportation or installation of the appliance(s) by the customer or hired help resulting in damage.
CANCELLATIONS
While we appreciate you considering our family owned business for your appliance needs, we also have to abide by rules set by our manufacturers. It is important to conduct proper measurements and utility specifications.
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to review their purchased unit(s) and confirm the unit(s) being purchased are correct.
Ponderosa Appliance cannot accept a “change of mind” (color, sheen, size, feature) circumstance as a form of return once the unit(s) purchased are received.
Cancellations can occur prior to Ponderosa Appliance receiving the purchased unit(s). If Ponderosa Appliance receives your purchased unit and a cancellation is to occur, a 20% restocking fee for the purchased unit(s) will be applied and would need to be paid by the purchaser before the unit(s) are to be returned by Ponderosa Appliance.
There cannot be a refund on special orders. If a change of model or manufacture is to occur, a 30% restocking fee on special orders will be applied prior to the unit(s) being returned and any amount that is higher than the original purchase will need to be paid. If the amount if lower, a credit or refund for the balance will be returned to the customer.
